Key highlights of Union Budget 2022 in major sectors of our country

This budget 2022 is one of the much-expected budgets of the present government. After the pandemic hit, many businesses and middle and lower-class people were looking for this budget. Hence, there is a high expectation of common people in this budget. Future looking aspects in Budget 2022

According to the finance minister of India, this budget was made keeping in mind the next 25 years. She suggested that the previous 75 years after independence and the upcoming next 25 years will be called together as Amritkal of India. She focused on the four main areas where the government will pay the highest attention in upcoming years. The areas are PM Gatishakti, Inclusive Development, Energy Transition, Climate Action, and Financing of Investments.

Improve in Transportation in Budget 2022

The sanction of the union government will benefit transportation systems such as roads, railways, airports, and other ports. National Highways will be increased by 25000 km in just one financial year. As infrastructure will develop, this can generate a high number of employment in upcoming years. The Indian postal system and railways will be integrated in such a way so that it can better serve the customers.

Agriculture and Food Processing in Budget 2022

In the budget, high emphasis was given to promoting chemical-free natural farming, starting with farmer’s land near river Ganga. Govt will promote post-harvest value addition and consumption and branding of millet products. In addition, there will be funds for the delivery of high-tech digital services, Kisan drones, and agriculture start-ups.

To benefit 9.1 lakh hectares of farmland, Ken Betwa Link Project will be implemented to provide drinking water and generate 130 MW of power.

Education Budget 2022

This year the government will give high priority to education. It allocated 1.04 lakh crore rupees in this section. The government will create a digital university for universal quality education. There will be a new model called “One class, One TV” model by which 200 tv channels will be created. An e-portal will be launched to promote online training for skilling and livelihood.

Health Budget 2022

This year, the Finance Minister confirmed that the National Digital Health Ecosystem would be rolled out so that everyone would be connected and can do their treatment easily. More than two lakhs Anganwadis will be upgraded into Saksham Anganwadis, where more facilities will be provided.

This year the government also gives a high focus on mental health treatment. For this, more than 23 National Tele Mental Health Centres will be established, which will do counseling through various programs.

Defense and Sports in Budget 2022

As we know, the tension between our neighboring countries is increasing day by day, a huge amount of 5.28 lakh crores is allocated in this sector. This will enhance border security along with internal security.

After the high success of Indian athletes in the Olympics, the government decided to increase their allocation in this sector. This year, the government will spend 3000 crore rupees on building sports infrastructure and athletes for better performance in the future.
